Earlier Work: Digital Landscapes

I spent years exploring the natural world with a digital camera in hand—chasing light, chasing solitude, chasing something I couldn't quite name at the time.

This collection represents a formative chapter in my journey as a photographer. Shot primarily with digital cameras, these images were my first attempts to understand the relationship between light, composition, and emotion in a landscape. They taught me how to see—to anticipate moments, to read the weather, and to listen to what a place was offering.

Back then, it was about exploration. I hiked before sunrise, waited out storms, and often returned to the same location over and over again, trying to capture it just right. These photographs mark the beginning of my obsession with wild spaces and the quiet stories they tell.

Looking back now, I see these images as stepping stones—part of the path that eventually led me to film, and to a slower, more intentional way of creating. But they still hold truth, beauty, and a deep connection to the places I love.

This work was where it all began.
The landscapes may change. The process may evolve.
But the pull of the wild remains the same.
