Panoramic Film Collection
There’s something sacred about the horizon—how it stretches endlessly, dividing earth and sky, anchoring us to the vastness of the natural world.
This series was created using the Fuji GX617, a panoramic medium format film camera known for its unmatched ability to capture sweeping, cinematic vistas. Each frame is exposed on 120 film, yielding a stunning 6x17cm negative—rich in detail, dynamic range, and tone.
The process is as deliberate as it is physical. There’s no zoom, no cropping after the fact. Just a single lens, a sturdy tripod, and a carefully composed scene. I wait for the light, for the wind to calm, for that precise moment when the landscape reveals something extraordinary. Then, one frame. That’s it.
These images are about scale. Rhythm. Balance. The quiet drama of wild places untouched and unhurried. They’re the result of days in the field, miles on foot, and a commitment to honoring the land by capturing it exactly as it is.
Each print in this collection is available, meticulously scanned and printed on museum-grade paper to preserve every nuance of the original film.
This is photography with intention.
This is the world at its widest.
